Funds are very tight right now but I HAVE to get her off my computer. I must have missed the photo with those corner screws. The fan will spin the power light and wireless light come on but the hard drive light will flash x2 in a repeating fashion. Any suggestions? It continues to happen to me everyday.
If there are some jumper pins, like dell desktops, IT IS NOT LOCATED NOWHERE NEAR THE CMOS BATTERY. Was the unit turned on and running on battery when you last used it, IE: was the unit in hibernation mode? The only noises I hear are from the CD drive and from the fan and only for the first 5-7 seconds. And previously at this temp the fan would kick in.

I replaced the battery and the first time I used the battery it worked but then it stopped with the battery always showing 77% charged.
