You can actually look this up on the Internet on most sites that cover MAC viruses. Thanks Hforman for posting that - I see no reason for an apology at all!! I don't feel so alone in my pain now. I used task manager to close the browser and scanned with malwarebytes. Go to setting> safari and clear website history.
